Public Art’s objective is to communicate a
message to the community.
Second Harvest, now Feeding America, is
an action-oriented organization. It provides.
It feeds. It speaks out. So it seemed logical
that our concept have a functional value as
much an aesthetic one. As a beacon of
celebration, an oasis, and a gathering table,
it was necessary that the project continued
to communicate the message it had been
broadcasting all these years.
